A woman and two children, a boy and girl aged two and eight, have been stabbed in a residential road in Dagenham.
The triple stabbing occurred at around 5.35pm on October 25 in First Avenue.
The Metropolitan Police received reports of three people injured, dispatching officers to the scene.
Paramedics from the London Ambulance Service (LAS) were also in attendance with London's Air Ambulance.
Emergency service vehicles were seen stationed in the road, preventing access from surrounding streets.
Drone images taken on the night of the incident captured the blue emergency lights in the street, and a large crime scene cordon.
The woman in her 30s and both children were found suffering from stab wounds.
They were taken to a major trauma centre as a priority.
A spokesperson for LAS said: "We were called at 5:35pm today (Friday 25 October) to reports of an incident in First Avenue, Dagenham.
"We sent a number of resources to the scene including four ambulance crews, medics in fast response cars and advanced paramedics.
"We also dispatched London’s Air Ambulance.
"We treated four people at the scene. We took one person to hospital and three to a major trauma centre as a priority”.

The condition of all three victims was previously undisclosed, but anA man in his 40s was arrested at the scene of the incident on suspicion of attempted murder.
He was taken to a hospital after falling ill but has since been discharged into police custody.

Det Supt Lewis Basford said: “This is a truly shocking attack and I want to thank local residents for their assistance and patience while we deal with this incident.
“At this early stage, we believe those involved were known to each other and we are not looking for anyone else in connection with this incident.

“A crime scene will remain in place for some time while our officers carry out vital work and you will see an increased policing presence in the area over the coming days.”
A single police car remains parked in First Avenue, in front of a crime scene cordon and a tent which has now been erected.
The Post has been advised by a Met spokesperson that there will be no ongoing "impact on roads".
