Hurricane winds are not forecast in London today after confusion was caused by a BBC weather app glitch.
The glitch on the app predicted that London would see 14,408mph winds and overnight temperatures of 404 degrees.
The glitch is now being looked at and is hoped to be fixed soon.
Today (Thursday, October 10), the Met Office forecasts a cloudy start to the day with patches of rain and “plenty of sunshine”.
Oops, don’t be alarmed by some of our @bbcweather app data this morning.
