A woman has died after two pedestrians were injured in a crash.
Police were called to Ager Avenue, close to Barrett Court in Dagenham, on Sunday (August 18) at about 1.15pm, to reports of a car crashing.
Emergency services found a woman, in her 40s, dead at the scene.
Her next of kin has been informed, the Metropolitan Police said.
A second woman was also taken to hospital for treatment, but her injuries are not life-threatening.
Two occupants of the car, a man, 18, and a 15-year-old boy, were arrested and later bailed pending further enquiries.
An appeal has been launched to speak to witnesses of the crash or to review any dashcam or CCTV footage.
