Students from a sixth form college have secured scholarships for Ivy League universities in America.
The teenagers from Newham Collegiate Sixth Form (NCS) in East Ham have scored exam results which will take them all the way to US universities Princeton and Harvard.
The pupils will swap East Ham, Tower Hamlets and Essex for the halls of these American institutions after getting scholarships worth more than £1 million.
Harmanpreet Garcha, 18, Feyisara Adeyemi, 17, and Tasneen Hossain, 18, were part of the Ivy League programme at NCS, part of the City of London Academies Trust (CoLAT).

Tasneen has turned down a place at Cambridge University to study maths and physics at Harvard.
Her dad is an Uber driver and her mum is a housewife, and she did not speak English when she arrived in the UK from Italy aged 9 in 2014.
She said: "It is an amazing feeling to finally get my A-level results.
"There has been lots of hard work to get to this point.
"I’m now really excited to take the next step."
The sixth form has now helped 11 students to win more than £4 million in funding for study at US universities.
An American tutor was appointed by the school to help the trio secure high marks in the US college admission’s SAT test.
The expenses for their four-year education and accommodation, around £350,000 each, will be completely financed by the US universities.
Harmanpreet, who will major in engineering at Harvard, said: "I was so scared I didn’t even book the plane tickets and I’m due to leave next Wednesday.
"Now I can book my ticket and really get excited about this."
The 18-year-old from Purfleet, Essex, added: "It’s a real incredible opportunity."
Feyisara, from Poplar, will study computer science at Princeton.
She said: "I can’t wait to get to America now.
"There will be some readjustment needed but I know I’m going to enjoy it."
Headteacher Anita Lomax said the school's current cohort of pupils will inspire the next generation.
"I am so pleased for our students," she added.
"They have put in the hard work and that effort has really paid off.
"At the NCS we're proud to offer the kinds of world class opportunities that are not available at other schools."
