A new restaurant looking to open inside a former Barclays bank in Dagenham has applied for an alcohol licence.
Jed Tech London Ltd has applied to Barking and Dagenham Council to secure a premises licence for Aroma.
The restaurant has earmarked the former Barclays site in Green Lane as its location, which has most recently been used by ATA Cars Ltd.
Jed Tech London Ltd has applied to sell alcohol from the premises between 9am and 11.45pm Monday to Thursday, from 9am until 1.45am Friday to Saturday, and from 9am to 10.45pm on Sunday.
The application made on July 18 has also requested licensing agreement for non-standard alcohol sale timings on the premises.
On days preceding a bank holiday, Aroma could be open from 9am until 1.45am.

The company has also applied for a late night refreshment licence that could see it open from 11pm to 11.45pm Monday to Thursday, and from 11pm to 1.45am Friday and Saturday.
Non-standard timings have also been applied for within the request for a late night refreshment licence, seeking permission to open from 11pm to 1.45am on days before a bank holiday.
