A man was attacked near a barber shop in Dagenham.

Officers from the Metropolitan Police were called to Goresbrook Road on July 27 to reports of an assault. 

They attended with members of the London Ambulance Service. 

At the scene, a man was found with a number of injuries and was taken to hospital. 

There have been no arrests in connection with the assaultThere have been no arrests in connection with the incident in Goresbrook Road (Image: Google Maps) His condition was assessed as non-life threatening or changing and he has since been discharged.

A forensics van was pictured in Goresbrook Road on July 28, but the crime scene has since been removed.

The London Ambulance Service has been contacted for a comment.
