A McDonald's restaurant in Dagenham has reopened following a refurbishment.
The fast food chain in Marks Gate on Whalebone Lane North reopened on Thursday (July 18) with several changes, including a redesigned front counter and kitchen.
It forms part of the company's "Convenience of the Future" programme which aims to make customer experience more enjoyable and efficient.
The revamped restaurant now has a dedicated courier waiting area and entrance, an larger order assembly area, and improved break spaces for employees.

John Loizou, owner and operator of the Marks Gate restaurant and 11 others in north London, said: “ The dining area is more contemporary, and we now have separate facilities for our dine-in customers and our couriers leading to a better experience for everyone.
"It’s exciting to see the fresh new look and feel of our Marks Gate restaurant and I’m confident the changes will not only benefit our customers but also our staff as they will help make their jobs a little easier.”
