Emergency services have been pictured at the scene of a crash on the A13.
The main road has been congested since around 7am this morning (June 25), following a reported crash.
According to the AA, delays along the stretch of road heading westbound on Alfreds Way are "severe", at 25 minutes.
The delay times have eased since the earlier recorded wait times of 36 minutes.
The nature of the crash is yet to be confirmed by emergency services, but images taken from Goresbrook Road have shown that London's Air Ambulance has been flown in.
The charity is only called to help in cases of London's most seriously injured patients.
A police vehicle has also been pictured appearing to block the road in the vicinity of the crash.

Road users are advised to expect long delays for time to come as one lane continues to be closed, affecting the flow of traffic towards the A123 Ripple Road.
Congestion has now backed up through Dagenham, reaching Wennington and Rainham Marshes.
The average speed of traffic has been reported as five miles per hour by the AA.
