A man was stabbed in the head in a fight in Dagenham.
The Metropolitan Police were called at 1.38pm today (June 18) to Stansgate Road, with reports of an fight between a group of men.
Officers were dispatched to the scene with the London Ambulance Service (LAS) and London's Air Ambulance.
The ambulance charity landed in Heath Park, only being flown out to treat London's most seriously injured patients.
At the scene a man in his 20s was found with a stab wound to his head as well as further injuries.
A second man, also in his 20s, was found with minor injuries and declined further treatment from LAS.
The stabbing victim has been taken to hospital where his condition is being assessed.

A spokesperson for the Met has confirmed they have arrested a person in connection with the incident.
A crime scene remains in place while enquiries into the circumstances continue.
