A cyclist was taken to hospital following a crash involving a car on a main road.
Police were called at about 4.40pm on Wednesday, (June 5) to reports of a collision involving a car and a cyclist in Langhorne Road, off Heathway, in Dagenham.
Officers and the London Ambulance Service attended.
The cyclist was taken to hospital and their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening, Scotland Yard said.
The driver stopped at the scene, they added.
Heathway was closed between Ford Road and Hedgeman Road/Church Elm Lane for a significant amount of time.
Bus routes 173, 174, 175 were all affected by the crash and a detour was in operation.
The Tube station at Heathway was unaffected by the crash but was reportedly busier than usual.
