Two people were taken to hospital after a crash in Dagenham left a woman trapped in a car.
The London Ambulance Service received reports of an incident at the junction of Pettits Road and Heathway at 7.15am on May 26.
A trauma team from London's Air Ambulance was dispatched to the scene by car, supported by an incident response officer and a medic in a fast response car.
The air ambulance helps to treat London's most seriously ill patients.

At the scene, firefighters discovered a woman trapped in a car and were able to release her.
She was then taken to a major trauma centre by helicopter.
The second patient, a man, had been able to exit the car himself and was taken to hospital.
Crews from Dagenham, Barking, and Bethnal Green fire stations attended.
A spokesperson for the Met has confirmed their injuries are not life-threatening and there have been no arrests.
An LFB spokesperson said: "Two cars were in collision with each other. One woman was trapped and released from a vehicle and one man left a vehicle before the brigade arrived.
"The woman was taken to hospital by helicopter emergency medical services and the man was taken to hospital by London Ambulance Service."
