Three people have been left injured after a multi-vehicle on the M4 near Heathrow Airport.
The incident happened on the M4 anti-clockwise within J14 at around 2pm today (May 23).
An ambulance crew and an incident response officer from the London Ambulance Service attended.
Three people were treated at the scene for minor injuries and were later discharged.
National Highways (@HighwaysEAST) has urged motorists on X (formally known as Twitter) to allow plenty of time travelling in the area.
The incident has caused six miles of congestion and severe 50-minute delays in the area.
Traffic is being diverted through the exit and entry slip roads at the junction, according to National Highways.
We have contacted Metropolitan Police for further information.
A spokesperson for London Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 2pm today (23 May) to reports of a road traffic collision on the M25, near Heathrow Airport.
“We sent an ambulance crew and an incident response officer to the scene.
“We assessed three patients for minor injuries before discharging them at the scene.”
