Heavy rainfall has resulted in water levels rising for Rivers Rom and Beam that could potentially flood several areas in Havering and Dagenham.
A flood alert has been issued today (May 21) at around 5.45pm for the rivers suggesting that low lying places in their vicinity are expected to be most affected like the Abbots Close in Rainham and Como Street in Romford.
A map of the flood warning includes Choats Manor Way and New Road in Dagenham, parts of Lower Mardyke Avenue and extends all the way past Roneo Corner to Collier Row.
In addition, a second such alert is also issued for River Ingrebourne including parts of Harold Hill and Hornchurch.
