A junior school has been rated 'outstanding' in all areas, with Ofsted describing the school as a place where pupils "thrive".
Warren Junior School, situated in the heart of Chadwell Heath, was awarded the top rating following an inspection on March 12 and 13.
The school, which serves children aged seven to 11, creates a "nurturing" and "positive" environment for its 556 pupils according to the education regulator.
In the Ofsted report published on April 29, inspectors said: "This is a happy and kind place where all are welcomed.
"Pupils are highly motivated to learn and achieve their best."
"They thrive here."
The report underlined the "positive and purposeful" environment cultivated by leaders at the school, emphasising the school's "consistently high" standards of behaviour and the well-coordinated approach to enriching the curriculum.
The inspectors noted that "pupils enjoy taking part in the extensive range of clubs, educational visits and wider opportunities provided".

The Ofsted report praised the school's efforts to build a respectful culture where pupils feel valued and safe.
Inspectors found that pupils appreciated the many events held by the junior school to celebrate different cultures, such as Bollywood dancing and visits to places of worship.
Talking about the academic success of the school, Ofsted found that Warren Junior's curriculum was "well-sequenced and resourced" and that it "enables all pupils to succeed".
Inspectors said: "Teachers have secure knowledge and understand how knowledge is precisely broken down into small parts and builds gradually as pupils move through the school.
"For instance, the progression in pupils’ sketchbooks demonstrates that pupils explore textures and parts in art with increasing complexity."
The personal development of the children also received praise from the watchdog.
It was noted that "pupils’ personal development is embedded in the curriculum".
Leaders provide additional opportunities through weekly assemblies, educational visits and enrichment activities, inspectors said, contributing to the well-rounded development of the pupils.
A strong partnership also exists between the school and parents, according to Ofsted.
Inspectors found that "parental engagement is strong because parents and carers enjoy learning alongside their children".
Staff were also "empowered" by the school, and told Ofsted inspectors they felt "appreciated, valued and well-supported by leaders".
In conclusion, the report said: "The school is determined in ensuring pupils are well prepared for the next stage of education."
Headteacher Jamie Bell said he is "overjoyed" that the junior school has again been awarded the 'outstanding' grade.
He added: "It is a wonderful achievement for the whole school community including the pupils, staff, parents and governors."
