A man has been charged with murder after a fatal stabbing in Dagenham. 

Police launched a murder probe after a 23-year-old man died from stab injuries after he was found by police in Flamstead Road at around 1.30pm on Saturday (April 20).  

Frankie Burletson, 24, of Arden Crescent in Dagenham, has now been charged with murder. 

He will appear at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court today (April 26). 

Burletson is also charged with wounding with intent against another man on the same day. 

It is not yet clear whether the victim’s family have been informed of his death.
