A London Overground route and c2c services have been blocked after a loss of power to overhead lines in Barking.
There have been no services running between Gospel Oak and Barking Riverside since around 2.30pm this afternoon (March 30).
Train operator c2c has said that the power outage means it has had to cancel services to and from central London.
National Rail has said that the disruption is expected to continue for some hours, estimating the issue will not be resolved until around 6pm this evening.
The issue comes as planned closures on the Elizabeth line, DLR and Overground services between Highbury and Islington and south London cause disruption for passengers.
People whose c2c journey has been affected by the power outage at Barking can use their ticket on District line trains via any reasonable route.
