A McDonald’s branch in a leisure park has shut for essential maintenance, but is expected to re-open soon.
The Cook Road fast food outlet in Dagenham shut yesterday (March 20) and will remain closed today (March 21), a McDonald’s employee confirmed this morning.
But the branch is set to re-open at 6am tomorrow (March 22).

Last Friday (March 15), McDonald’s, which has around 1,300 branches in the UK, suffered a global system outage which brought much of the chain to a standstill, the BBC reported.
But the Dagenham branch closure was unrelated to this and was just for essential maintenance, the McDonald’s employee said. They apologised for any inconvenience caused.
McDonald’s has four branches across the town.
