A newsagents in Dagenham has been badly damaged after going up in flames.
The shop in Whalebone Lane South has now closed temporarily after the blaze on Saturday (March 16).
Video footage shared to Facebook captured thick smoke and flames coming from the shop door before emergency services arrived.

The London Fire Brigade's control officers took 14 individual 999 calls about the fire, with the first call coming in at 1.39pm.
Forty firefighters from across Dagenham, Barking, Ilford, Romford, Hornchurch and Hainault fire stations were dispatched to the scene of the blaze in six fire engines.
The fire was brought under control an hour later, at 2.39pm.
The cause of the fire has been recorded as undetermined.
