A man is in hospital after being assaulted inside a McDonald's restaurant in Dagenham.
Officers from the Metropolitan Police were called to the fast food restaurant in Ballards Road at 6.10am yesterday (March 10).
The victim of the assault, a man in his 20s, was tended to at the scene by paramedics from the London Ambulance Service.
He has since been taken to hospital for treatment where his condition is not life threatening.

One concerned Facebook user posted: "Anyone know what happened at the Ballards road McDonald's? All taped off with forensics police there."
Anyone with information that could assist police is asked to call 101 or ‘X’ @MetCC and quote CAD1412/10Mar.
People can also provide information anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
