A road in Barking remains affected after a gas leak was reported.
An emergency gas service was called to Ripple Road yesterday (February 21) after the smell of gas was reported.

"No properties were evacuated; however, road restrictions have been put in place whilst we complete the repair."
Road users will not be able to access Ripple Road from the A13 whilst the works are ongoing, and restrictions are in place for traffic from Ripple Road going onto the A13.
The Cadent Gas spokesperson told The Post today (February 22): “We are expecting the repair to be completed this evening.
"Then the road needs to be resurfaced and this work will be completed by 6pm on Saturday.”
