A woman continues to fight for her life after a crash on a busy road in Barking.
Met Police were called to the incident at around 2.52pm on Thursday (February 15) on the A406.
The 40-year-old pedestrian was found to be hit by a car and rushed to the hospital by London Ambulance Service.

She was believed to be seriously injured, the police had said earlier, and officers were working to identify her next of kin.
The Police have today revealed that the woman is still in a critical condition in the hospital and has suffered multiple injuries.
The driver of the car involved in the crash stopped at the scene and police have made no arrests so far.
