A man has been charged with harassment after being arrested in Dagenham last week.
The 29-year-old was arrested last Thursday (February 8) at an address in the town on suspicion of domestic harassment, stalking and threats to kill.
He was since charged with harassment and remanded in custody after appearing at Thames Magistrates' Court in Bow on Saturday (February 10).
The arrest comes after an ongoing investigation, police said.
"The victim is being supported by officers," a police spokesperson added. "We will always act on allegations of harassment and stalking."
