A Dagenham man has been charged with conspiring to steal vehicles among other offences.
Bradley Dimech, of Singleton Road, appeared at Southend-on-Sea Magistrates' Court on January 11.
The 51-year-old was charged with conspiring to steal vehicles, handling stolen goods and going equipped.
He was one of four men charged in connection with alleged incidents in 2023 and 2024.
Police had executed ten warrants across east London and Essex on January 10.
Ch Insp Paul Hogben, district commander for Castle Point and Rochford said:
"Tackling vehicle theft is a priority for us and we are continuing to identify and target anyone concerned.
"We understand how devastating it can be to wake up and find your family car or your work van has been taken.
"These vehicles are essential for people’s day-to-day lives, whether it’s running a business or taking the children to school, and they often contain items of sentimental value."
