A woman has been injured in a crash with a car in Dagenham.
Crews from the London Ambulance Service (LAS) and the Metropolitan Police responded to the incident today (January 9) in Haskard Road.
A spokesperson for the Met Police said: "Police were called at 12:30hrs on Tuesday, 9 January to reports of a collision involving a car and a pedestrian at the junction of Haskard Road and Parsloes Road, Dagenham.
"Officers attended along with paramedics from the London Ambulance Service.
"The pedestrian, a woman, was taken to hospital. We await an update on her condition."
The driver of the car involved stopped at the scene and police enquiries are ongoing.
A number of locals have reported the road to be "all taped off", with police and ambulances present.
