A person has been taken to a major trauma centre after a "serious crash" on the A13 which London's Air Ambulance attended.
London Ambulance Service (LAS) said it was called at 10.33am today (November 29) to a report of a crash on the A13 near Dagenham.
Severe delays on the A13 have been reported by the AA as a result of a "serious crash".
LAS treated two people, one of whom was taken to a major trauma centre, after London’s Air Ambulance was dispatched.
“We sent a number of resources to the scene, including an ambulance crew, a medic in a fast response car, an incident response officer, a clinical team manager and members of our hazardous area response team," an LAS spokesperson said.
