A woman was hospitalised after falling in a main road in Dagenham.
London Ambulance Service (LAS) was called out to the scene of the incident in Heathway yesterday (November 5) whilst officers from the Met Police dealt with traffic.
A LAS spokesperson said: “We were called at 11.42am on Sunday to reports of a person who had fallen in Heathway, Dagenham.
“We sent an ambulance crew and a paramedic in a fast response car to the scene.
“We treated a patient at the scene and took her to hospital.”
One Facebook users said police blocked a section of the road after the incident.
A spokesperson for Met Police said: "The London Ambulance Service dealt with this incident, officers assisted with traffic."
