A man has appeared in court after being charged in connection with an alleged assault on a high street.
Rasel Miah, 32, of Serpentine Close in Chadwell Heath, was charged on Wednesday (October 18) with actual bodily harm.
This comes after an alleged assault which took place at around 5.30pm on Monday (October 16) in High Road, Chadwell Heath.
A man aged in his 30s suffered head and face injuries, police said.

His injuries were not life threatening, the force added.
Miah appeared at Barkingside Magistrates' Court on Thursday (October 19) where he was bailed to appear at Snaresbrook Crown Court on November 15.
Crime slightly increased in Chadwell Heath from 143 reported incidents to 144 from July to August, according to Met Police data.
