A “jigsaw” view of Tower Bridge like you’ve never seen before was one of the exhibits by students graduating at Barking and Dagenham College.
The artwork depicting the iconic Victorian structure etched and painted onto woodblocks, all joined up to form an overall image like a jigsaw puzzle, was created by design student Jessica Chatters.
Her unusual image was one of many pieces by creative industries students showing their work in an end-of-year graduation at their Rush Green campus.
“The students’ work was impressive,” college development manager Zoe Richardson said. “The exhibition was a great success.”
The graduation showed family and friends just what they’ve been working on during the academic year.
A fashion show was played on big screens while art students exhibited their work around the space and E-sports students competed in the gaming arena. Film and media students also had their showreels played in the film studio and photography work displayed in the David Bailey studio.
