A concert in Barking is paying tribute to two legendary rock bands.
The Purple Zeppelin tribute band is performing songs by Deep Purple and Led Zeppelin during a two-and-a-half hour Saturday-night show at The Broadway theatre.
Purple Zeppelin have been touring for 10 years and been seen by six million fans, live and on TV. They featured in the BBC TV documentary The Joy of the Guitar Riff.
The four musicians have decades of playing between them and thousands of gigs in the UK and overseas.
Their show is described as a theatrical insight into two giants of rock, with special effects.
The September 16 show starts at 7.30pm, tickets £22 (concessions at £20), from the box office on 020 8507 5607 or on the thebroadwaybarking.com website.
