Two men have been arrested after an alleged early hours knifepoint robbery in Barking.
Metropolitan Police were called at around 3.55am today (August 10) to reports of two women threatened by a man with a knife in George Street.
One of them was reportedly robbed of her mobile phone, police said.

Officers arrested two men on suspicion of robbery and aggravated bodily harm at an address nearby. Both have been taken into custody.
The phone has since been recovered and returned to the owner.
A crime scene remains in place and the AA has reported that North Street is closed between London Road and Whitling Avenue.
Enquiries into the circumstances of the crime are ongoing.
