A violent altercation today morning has left two men with head injuries in Barking.
Officers of Met Police were called at 4:22am on Sunday (July 2) to reports of a fight at a commercial premises on London Road.
They found the two men, aged around 30s and 50s, with bruises on their head.
London Road was reportedly closed both ways from North Street to Linton Road while the police carried out their investigation.
The AA reported that a detour has been in place for seven buses as a crime scene remains in place.

London Ambulance Service rushed the victims to an East London hospital where their condition was assessed as non-life threatening.
The police arrested one man on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm. He was also taken to the hospital as a precaution before being held in custody at an East London police station.
