L&Q has bought more than 150 further homes at Barking Riverside, the housing association has revealed.
The 167 'affordable' homes have been acquired from Southern Housing and join the 679 already owned by L&Q there.
The latest units it has bought were part of the first phase of the Barking Riverside development.

Of the newly acquired stock, L&Q said 115 units are social rented homes and 52 are intermediate market rent.
The housing association already has stock in Barking and Dagenham, with a total of 3,627 units.
Barking Riverside Limited (BRL) - a joint venture between L&Q and the Mayor of London - is the master developer behind Barking Riverside.
They are responsible for delivering the infrastructure on site and preparing the land for plot developers.
The project is set to see more than 10,000 homes built in total.
L&Q director of strategic sales John Lumley said: "This acquisition not only marks another step forward in our growth strategy as a strong and forward-looking business, but it also solidifies our commitment to the local area, our residents at Barking Riverside and the partnership with the local authority.
"We are fully invested in the success of Barking Riverside."
