Residents helped to light up the streets of Barking during a Guy Fawkes-themed parade.
The Guy Fawkes Lantern Parade was held on Sunday (November 6), with schools among those taking part.
The procession began at Eastbury Manor House and ended at Abbey Ruins.
Parade participants were encouraged to build and bring their own Guy and wear bright clothing, glowing accessories and face paint.
There was also a range of entertainment on display at Abbey Ruins throughout the evening's proceedings.
This included live music and street theatre.
Performances also included a fire show by Cirque Bijou and the evening was closed by Laser Light City, a light and laser display by award-winning artist Seb Lee-Delisle.
The event was organised by Barking and Dagenham Council in partnership with Creative Barking and Dagenham.
