Tribute to a former Barking Resident 13 December 1934 - 7 August 2020 Betty peacefully passed away on Friday 7th August at her home in Tillingham, with her beloved husband George by her side. Betty was born 13th December 1934 and was a loving mum to David, Karen and James, nanny to Dom, Sarah, Daisy, Katie, Poppy and Jack, and great-nanny to Vienna Mae. She was a huge influence in all of their lives and will be greatly missed. The ceremony celebrating her life will be held on Monday 24th August 1.30pm at Chelmsford Crematorium. Very close family only are permitted, but flowers and donations to Cancer Research will be gratefully accepted.
